These are blooming size plants of one of our most popular orchids.
Ideally, Maxillaria tenuifolia would like temperatures of about 50-85 degrees, but we have grown it where the night temperature occasionally drops to 40 degrees. Best protected overhead from frost. Otherwise grow the plants in semi-bright or filtered light: water frequently with regular additions of fertilizer Spring-Fall with a bit of a drier Winter rest. Flowers of 1.5-2" are produced in Spring and Summer.
