Dendrobium glomeratum 3"
species - Maluku & Sulawesi Islands
This is a medium size, cool-warm growing plant that may flower at any time, but usually in Spring-Summer often on bare canes. The 2-3" flowers occur in clusters of 3-5 and sparkle beautifully in sunlight. The plants have grown well for us with night temperatures of 55-65 degrees at night to 85 during the day in bright indirect light. Water and fertilize regularly using a liquid or water soluble plant food once a month. Den. glomeratum is considered to be easy to grow and bloom. Because of the pendant nature of the plants, mounting them on pieces of cork or fern or growing in baskets is recommended.
