Vanda Pitchaon Violet NFS 5"
Vanda Pitchaon Violet
(Oranooch X coerulea)
Here is a Vanda that is, genetically, 63% Vanda coerulea. That not only gives the flowers their color, but also gives the plants some "cool tolerance" making them easier to grow and bloom for some people. The plants would still do best with temperatures from about 65 to 85+ degrees night to day with bright light (careful to avoid being too close to unobstructed south and west facing windows). Water and fertilizer year-round allowing the medium to dry a bit between applications and lessening the frequency of both as the days become cooler and shorter. Use a liquid or water soluble fertilizer once a month. Flowers are about 4" in size and may bloom at any time.
LIMITED!! NEAR FLOWERING SIZE, BUT NOT CURRENTLY IN SPIKE, BUD OR BLOOM!!!
