Dendrobium ceraula 2" FS
species - Philippines
This is an intermediate grower for us that likes shady conditions and temperatures from about 60 to 75 degrees night to day. It bears its 1.5+" flowers at almost any time of year when mature. It has also been known as Dendrobium gonzalesii, however Den. ceraula has precedence. Although ours are in pots, they will be better grown in mossed baskets or mounted on cork, treefern or other suitable materials due to their decidedly pendant growth habit. In either case, water to keep the roots moist-good humidity will be helpful especially for those mounted.
Although they are in 2" pots, these plants are first blooming size.
