Beautifully formed 4.5" flowers 2-3 in number are produced in Spring-Summer. Like most Cattleyas, the plants would like bright indirect light with temperatures between about 65 and 85degrees night to day. Water and fertilize regularly year-round using a liquid or water soluble fertilizer once a month. Allow the medium to dry a bit between water applications. As the plants become larger, reduce the frequency of both as the days become shorter, darker and cooler.

GROWER'S NOTE: Most Cattleyas can easily tolerate and even acclimate to temperatures a bit lower or higher than those listed as ideal. They can even sustain substantial changes for a short term. Here are a couple of tips for extremes: for cold - kepp the plants drier; for hot shade where possible and wet with good air movement.
