Dendrobium Little Atro
(normanbyense X atroviolaceum)
The parents of Little Atro come from Papua and New Guinea and both are warm growers, so give the plants nights of around 65 degrees and days in the upper 80's. They like abundant water and fertilizer until Winter when both can be reduced somewhat. They do not need a cool, dry "rest" as do some of their Section: Dendrobium relatives. Use a liquid or water soluble plant food twice a month during the growing season (Spring-Fall). See our offerings in the S
"Supplies" section of the website. The 2.5" nodding flowers are very long lasting and are slightly fragrant. Blooming season is late Winter to Spring. Compact plants are 7-8" tall.
