Beautiful "kaleidoscopic" flower from 4-almost 6" have resulted from this hybrid. The flowers may be held on relatively short to rather tall stems and flower in both late Spring-Summer to late Fall-Winter taking after the Laelia anceps parent. Give the plants bright indirect light and temperatures from 55-65 degrees at night to 85 or more during the day. Water and feed regularly; use a liquid or water soluble plant food once a month. Allow the roots to dry a bit between waterings. These can be grown mounted on appropriately sized branches or cork slabs. As the plants in pots mature, it is best to grow them in a coarse, fast draining medium.

Holiday Shipping
Any three-day OR express saver orders received after 12/16 10am PST will ship 1/5/26
During the winter months, we recommend against using Express Saver.

We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to place orders early to ensure timely delivery!
- Plants are packed with great care, however we cannot guarantee flowers, buds, sheaths or spikes once the package leaves the nursery.
- We offer local pick up at the nursery in Portola Valley
- We ship in the continental US only. WE DO NOT SHIP TO HAWAII.
- We ship on Monday – Tuesday.
- If a payment is received after 9:00 AM PST Tuesday, we may ship the item the following Monday.
- We use Fedex and UPS to ship product orders.
- P.O. boxes are not accepted, you must have a physical address.
- Each purchase may be shipped separately.
- We do not ship floral arrangements, Local SF peninsula delivery van service only - by arrangement.

Express Service will ship on Mondays only because it takes 5 working days to deliver and UPS does not deliver on the weekend. Please take this into consideration when you choose Express Service.

Any inclement weather delays for any level of shipping, that includes overnight, is beyond Brookside Orchids control.

If you feel there may be an issue with extreme heat or cold en route, please contact us if you need to put a hold on shipping.

Time to arrival/delivery quotes are generated on our website by FedEx and UPS, not Brookside Orchids.  FedEx and UPS quotes are when they pick up packages from Brookside Orchids. Also keep in mind the package will not travel in a direct route but rather from one shipping hub to another.

Winter Weather Policy

We recommend against using UPS 3 Day Select and FedEx Express Service, especially during months when extreme cold is possible. These two options prolong the time orchids are in transit, making them susceptible to harsh conditions. We can hold orders until weather warms upon request. It is up to you to notify us to hold a shipment and then notify us again when to ship it. If you are ordering an orchid in spike/bloom and your order is held, the orchid may not be in spike/bloom by the time we can ship it.

If you choose to use UPS 3 Day Select and FedEx Express Service, we will not be responsible for any damage that may occur to your plants. If damage occurs and you wish to file a claim with UPS, it will be your responsibility to do so.
