This hybrid was registered by the Rod McLellan Co. in 1992 and since it's debut, 6 dozen different individual clones have been awarded and countless others never shown. 'Red Cat' is one of the latter. Pictured to the right above is the best representation we could find. Below are pictures of Ons. Wildcat 'Bob Cat' which is said to be similar.
Wildcat is a vigorous grower that likes bright indirect light and temperatures between about 505 and 65 degrees at night. Although they are adaptable to many media, ours are grown in NZ Sphagnum moss to aid in water retention. Water and feed regularly; use a liquid or water soluble plant food once a month. Keep the roots just moist, avoid overwatering which is a frequency issue rather than a quantity one; avoid keeping the plants constantly soggy.

Neither we nor our supplier had actually seen 'Red Cat' and we used what we found online. 'Red Cat' is similar to 'Golden Red Star', but with less yellow color and with better shape.
