Cattleya (Gur.) aurantiaca X Caulocattleya Chantilly Lace
There have been relatively few crosses registered with City. Chantilly Lace since it's introduction in 1996. Some that have a photo record, show the dominance of the semi-peloric petals. These with probably bloom with flowers in an orange or yellow color about 2-2.5" in size, the shape most likely dominated by Chantilly and likely showing some central marking on the petals. Speculative, but very interesting! The plants are near first blooming size.
NOTE: The hybrid name Guarthroleya Hawaiian Lace, has been accepted by the RHS.
