This is one of the more unusual Vanilla species-notable because it is leafless and because it bears bright yellow flowers. Not too much original information is available regarding this amazing orchid. Although listed as a shade lover, ours are doing well in bright indirect light. Temperature between about 65 and 85 degrees night to day are good. Some say that they like sandy soil, but ours are doing well in New Zealand sphagnum moss. Flowering size is said to be around 3'. Ours, in active growth, are~9-11" tall.
