Dockrillia calamiforme 2'
Dockrillia calamiforme
species - Queensland, Australia
This is a warm to hot growing species (we grow it 60-90 degrees night to day) that is found in nature both epiphytically (as on a tree) or lithophytically (on a rock or rocky outcropping). The leaves are pendant and terete (pencil-like). Fragrant, non-resupinate (upside down) flowers are produced during the Summer months. Water and feed regularly especially during the Summer months; use a liquid or water soluble fertilizer once a month; morning misting once or twice a week may help. Give the plants bright light and a bit of a dries Winter rest.
