This is a Winter-Spring blooming plant that after some time can grow to be quite large. It is best grown mounted in a basket or a suitable branch, cork or wood slab due to the pendant nature of the plant (but avoid marine driftwood as salt is toxic to most orchids). The 2-4" fragrant flowers typically bloom on bare canes after a Winter "rest" during which the plants should receive little water, no fertilizer in addition to being chilled.
The specific name "anosmum" is really a misnomer meaning no fragrance. The flowers are really quite fragrant.
