Sophronitis cernua

This is a real miniature that blooms in Spring with sparkling, 1", orange flowers, a favorite of hummingbirds here at the nursery. The plants like warm temperatures (65-85 degrees night to day), with bright light. Although ours are currently potted in 2" rose pots*, they will do better mounted on chips of cork or other suitable material (avoid marine driftwood). Water a feed regularly allowing the medium to dry a bit between waterings slacking off a little during shorter, darker weather. Should you wish to keep them potted, use a coarse medium.
