Bulbophyllum contortisepalum

This is a miniature, shade loving plant that bears 2.5-3", non-fragrant flowers almost any time of year on a wiry upright to arching stem. We grow them at temperatures between about 65 to 85 degrees night to day, keeping them moist at the roots with reasonably good humidity, planted in NZ sphagnum moss to assist in moisture retention. Water with the aim of keeping the moss moist, not constantly soggy and add a liquid or water soluble fertilizer at half strength twice a month.
