Surprisingly, with all the intensive breeding that has gone on in the last few decades , this is a relatively simple hybrid involving only 4 species (P. violacea, P. lueddemanniana, P. speciosa and P. amboinensis). The flowers are about 1.5" in size, glossy with heavy texture and seem to be summer blooming.
The plants would like subdued light and temperatures between about 65 and 85 degrees night to day wit year-round watering and fertilizing with a liquid or water based fertilizer applied once a month.
