(caudatum X longifolium alba 'Zephyrus Gold')
This is a remake of the elegant long petalled hybrid using one alba (green) parent. It will probably look much like the normal one although albas are possible, especially if the Phrag. caudatum has some albanistic tendencies. These are basically intermediate growers that like indirect light and temperatures between about 60 and 80 night to day. They prefer moisture at the roots, but don't want to remain constantly soggy.
Flowers bloom successively, up to 3-4 in number with petals 12-15" long on a mature plant. They are Winter-Spring bloomers. Seedling leafspan is about 18".
