This is one of the "leafless" orchids, though at some times tiny leaves may appear. Most of the functions of leaves are carried out by the roots - how economical!! This is also a species that has not had the benefit of taxonomic study and therefore the name has not been taxonomically accepted although the plants are well known. Flowers are about 1/3", are held on a short arching to pendant stem a few to several in number.
Grow this small wonder with temperatures from around 60-65 to 80 degrees night to day with bright indirect light and good humidity. Water and/or mist frequently adding a liquid or water soluble fertilizer once a month.
