When it was first awarded in 1985, the flower of Bc. Keowee 'Mendenhall' was over 5" across. Since then, successive cloning has reduced the size a bit, but when it is mature you can still expect 2-3 flowers somewhere around 5" in size.
Keowee would like bright indirect light, temperature around 60 to 85 degrees night to day with regular watering and fertilizing (see ours in the "Supplies" section. Allow the roots to dry slightly between waterings.
These plants are 1-2 years from first bloom with the proper care.
