This Vanda features 4-4.5" flowers on a semi-arching stem of 10-12 when mature. Vandas want bright light, but use care to set the plant back from an unobstructed south or west facing window as the plants can burn. Water and feed regularly year-round taking into account the normal seasonal fluctuations in light and temperature (i.e. less frequently during colder, darker weather, etc.). Allow the roots to dry a bit between waterings and when repotting a vigorous plant, use a coarse medium.
Most or the larger flowered Vanda hybrids do better with warm temperatures (65+-85 night to day), however, Pakchong Blue is over 60% Vanda coerulea in addition to having it as one parent, so it may be able to grow and bloom with somewhat cooler temperatures as long as the light level remains high enough.
