Phalaenopsis violacea has been used a great deal in hybridizing to impart fragrance to its progeny. The Spring blooming 2" flowers have many color forms, but one of the most sought after are the deeply colored "Indigo" forms. The plants want warm temperatures (65 degrees and above at night with shade and should be kept moist (not soggy) at all times.
NOTE: These are seedlings, so there will be some variation in shape, size and color of the flowers. Because these are siblings, the variation should not be too great.
