Here is a lovely new addition to Zygopetalum intergeneric breeding. Flowers are about 2.75" in size on upright stems. At maturity the plants are capable of multiple stems of 4-5 flowers each.
Grow these with nights of 50-60 degrees with semi-bright light. Day temperatures can be to 80 degrees or so. Like Zygopetalums, Zygonisias do not tolerate being very dry especially at the roots, so water with the aim of keeping the medium (sphagnum moss) moist and add a liquid or water soluble fertilizer once a month.
