Aerangis kotschyana
species - Widespread throughout Africa
This is a warm-hot growing species from so many countries in Africa that we couldn't list them all! Realistically, we have been able to grow Aer. kotschyana with 65 degree nights and days that can reach into the 90's at times. They are somewhat shaded, but because we grow them under a double wall polycarbonate, we're able to grow them in more light than might be expected, listed as they are as semi- shade loving. Good humidity is beneficial, but they also like a dry-ish Winter. It is suggested that because of this and because of their pendant to 18" flower stems, they do best mounted on a piece of cork or other suitable material (avoid marine driftwood!).
VERY LIMITED! NEAR FLOWERING SIZE, BUT NOT CURRENTLY IN SPIKE OR BUD!!!
