Some consider these two synonymous (and favor Den. bracteosum) while others think they are separate species. In any case their home in nature is Papua and New Guinea along with Bismarck archipelago and the Moluccas. Whatever!! The plants are warm growers (65-85 degrees night to day) that like bright indirect light. They are typically Spring-Fall bloomers that produce ball-like clusters of flowers both from the base and apex of the usually leafless canes. Flowers come in shdes of pink-reddish and are both long-lasting and fragrant.
