Phalaenopsis hygrochila 3''
species - Assam, Himalayas, Myanmar, Thailand, China, Vietnam
This species was once known as Vandopsis parishii, but was reclassified in 2015. It is the "moist lipped" Phalaenopsis. Unlike many of its relatives, Phal. hygrochila likes bright indirect light, but like them would like warm temperatures. Ours are growing with 60-65 degree nights and 80+ degree days, but they are by no means quick. The fragrant, heavy textured, long lasting, 2.5" flowers appear in late Winter-Spring.
NOT FLOWERING SIZE1 NOT IN BUD OR BLOOM!!
