Bulbophyllum (lasiochilum X longissimum)
A combination of the petite Bulb. lasiochilum with the very long (to 16") Bulb. longissimum. The Bulb. lasiochilum proved the more dominant as the flowers are about 3" in length, two per stem. They are mostly Spring blooming. But both parent plants are easy growing, liking shady, warm conditions (65=85 degrees night to day). They prefer to be moist, not soggy, so water and fertilize regularly. Use a liquid or water soluble plant food at half strength twice a month (see our offerings in the "Supplies" section of the website).
