Stanhopea (connata X nigroviolacea)
These are a more mature offering of our 2" seedlings. Flowers are 4-6" in size, very fragrant, but, alas, like other Stanhopeas, are rather short lived. They are best grown in baskets (plastic, wire or wood) and prefer to be shady and moist. They are tolerant of temperatures from about 40 degrees to 85+, but don't let them become bone=dry. They are mostly Summer flowering.
