Oncidium Sweet Sugar
(Aloha Iwanaga X varicosa)
Lovely "Dancing Ladies" with skirts up to 1.75" grace branched stems that stand about 24" out of the base of the plant. They like bright indirect light and grow cool to warm (55-60 at night and 80 during the day). Ours are planted in NZ sphagnum moss and should be kept moist -NOT soggy! Add a little sunshine to your house of office.
These differ only slightly from Onc. Sweet Sugar 'Lemon Drop" in that they have a brown blaze on the lip and brown markings on the petals while 'Lemon Drop' is pure yellow.
