Dendrobium aurantiflammeum 2" FS
species - Borneo
A most unusual orchid, Dendrobium aurantiflammeum features bamboo-like stems with swollen bases that produce few to many downward facing 2-2.5" flowers that open successively, up to 10 over time. This is a mostly cool grower; we've been growing ours around 55 degrees at night and up to 80 during the day. They prefer dappled or semi-shady light. They are planted in NZ sphagnum moss and should be kept just moist adding a liquid or water soluble plant food to the water twice a month.
Plants are ~ 14-20" tall.
VERY LIMITED!! FLOWERING SIZE, BUT NOT CURRENTLY IN BUD OR FLOWER!!
