Dendrobium laevifolium aureum 2" NFS
species - New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Santa Cruz Islands, Vanuatu
Rare! Beautiful trumpet-like flowers that open to a bit less than 1" to almost 2" across are borne mostly in Summer on miniature plants. These can be grown potted or mounted on appropriate media (cork, redwood, various branches, etc. - Avoid oceanic driftwood). Grow the plants with indirect light with Intermediate-Cool temperatures. Give the plants a "soft" Winter rest (i.e. reduce watering and eliminate fertilizer) until new growth begins in Spring.
These are planted in 2" mesh pots. Try this one as a substitute for the much more difficult to grow Dendrobium cuthbertsoniae.
VERY LIMITED! BLOOMING SIZE, BUT NOT CURRENTLY IN BUD OR BLOOM!!
