Cattleya aurantiaca marmorata FS 4''
Cattleya aurantiaca marmorata
species - Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador Nicaragua, Costa Rica
Most of us know this as Cattleya aurantiaca although it has been re-classified as Guarianthe aurantiaca. It is basically an intermediate grower, happy at around 60 degrees at night and 80 or so daytime. Give the plants bright indirect light and allow them to dry slightly between waterings. Do add a liquid or water soluble fertilizer to the water twice a month (see ours in the "Supplies" section).
The plants are Winter-Spring bloomers and produce heads of up to twelve 1-1.25" flowers.
NOTE: All of these plants bloomed last season, but none have been graded.
