Dendrobium glomeratum 2"
Dendrobium glomeratum
species - Moluccas Islands
Although listed as a cool grower, Den. glomeratum can also be grown warmer, with nights or 60 degrees or do and days in the 80's. Ours are in 3" pots of NZ sphagnum moss, but should be mounted on cork or other similar material, or planted in baskets soon to accommodate their strongly pendant nature. Bright indirect light and regular waterings that include a liquid or water soluble fertilizer finish the care regimen except to add that good humidity is very helpful. Plants that have been mounted will require more frequent watering and misting than those in baskets. Though listed as Spring-Summer bloomers, Den. glomeratum can bloom with 1-1.5" flowers at other times as well on both leaved and leafless stems
