One of the "Jewel Orchids", so named because of their leaves. Macodes sanderiana is a warm grower (65 to 85 degrees night to day), that appreciated dappled light. Grow these in New Zealand sphagnum moss with yearly re-potting into fresh moss. Allow the moss to become almost dry before watering again. These are Fall-Winter bloomers.
