`Cattleya percivaliana
species - Venezuela, Colombia
In its native Venezuela, Cattleya is considered a cool grower that likes full sun and is often found as a lithophyte (rock-grower).. Here it can still be grown with nights of 55-60 degrees and warm days and it would still like bright indirect light. It's best to let the growing medium dry just a bit between waterings and would also like the addition of a liquid or water soluble fertilizer twice a month. It is mostly a Fall-Winter bloomer with 2-4 fragrant flowers measuring up to 5" in size.
This is a sibling cross of the semi-alba 'Farah Diba' and the coerulea 'Ondine'. They may all turn out to be the usual pink form, but they will be C. percivaliana!
