Dendrobium Green Lantern 'Red Carpet' HCC/AOS 2'
Dendrobium Green Lantern
(Dawn Marie X cruentum)
Colorful, long-lasting 2.5"+ flowers are produced late Spring to early Summer all along the upper part of the stem on mature plants. These are immature, but will likely bloom this season if cared for properly.
'Red Carpet' is a warm grower. Here that means nights around 65 degrees. It also likes bright indirect light. Good humidity is helpful, along with regular additions of fertilizer (see ours in the "Supplies" section). However, though it is a hybrid, "Red Carpet" may be deciduous and should leaves begin to yellow and fall late in the year, reduce the water to just enough to keep the pseudobulbs from shriveling. Resume regular watering and feeding when new growth begins again in Spring.
