Epicattleya Rene Marques 'Tyler'

Certainly one of the most popular hybrids of its kind. 'Tyler' stands a little shorter at 2' than the better known 'Flamethrower., but the flowers are almost the same - waxy, long-lasting and about 3" across, few to many on an arching stem.
Tyler is pretty adaptable, too from coolish to warm at night (55-65 degrees) with bright indirect light. Grow it much like its Cattleya parent with regard to water - a little drier between waterings. It seems to grow well in a variety of media.
These are near flowering size (a few have even put up 1-2 flowered immature stems), but will be much more floriferous as they mature.
