Beautiful pansy-like flowers in excess of 3" in size that bloom for us mostly during late Fall to Spring. In general, Miltonias appreciate cooler temperatures (~55-75 degrees night to day) but also bright indirect light. Ours are planted in sphagnum moss which is an ideal medium because it stays moist, however care should be taken not to so water so frequently the it becomes soggy constantly. Good air circulation and humidity are also helpful to see them do their best. Add a liquid or water soluble fertilizer to your watering regimen twice a month.
Avoid hot, dry still locations if you want them to last well or to grow on. Those crinkled leaves you may hear about are the result of these conditions. The plant may be brought back to normal growth with a change in environment, but the damaged leaves will not. It's also a good idea to remove fallen flowers from the leaves as they can cause damage if not removed.
