Huge, very fragrant flowers that can exceed 6" in electric magenta that bloom in late Fall to late Winter. This is a Rhyncholaeliocattleya (Rlc.) a man-made genus that resulted from the re-classification of Brassavola digbyana to Rhyncholaelia digbyana. Culture, of course was not affected! The plants favor warm temperatures (65-85 degrees night to day), bright indirect light with regular watering and fertilizing. Let your culture adapt to the season, i.e. lessen bot water and fertilizer as the days become darker, shorter and cooler. Allow the plants to dry a bit between waterings.
