Dendrobium secundum 3"
species - Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Java, Sumatra, Borneo, New Guinea, Philippines
This is a large plant when mature with upright to semi-pendant canes that blooms on short densely packed stems of fragrant tiny (~.5") flowers in Summer-Fall on the prior years leafless growth after a winter rest from regular watering and from fertilizing altogether. A bit of a chill during the "rest" (55 degrees) helps flowering. It is an otherwise warm grower (65+ degrees to 85 degrees night to day) that also likes bright indirect light.
