Vanda coerulea delicata 3"
Vanda coerulea delicata
species - India, Myanmar, Thailand
The rare and unusual pink form of the normally blue flowered Vanda. The blue form has been used extensively in hybridizing (356 primary hybrids and involved in over 6000 hybrids). Fragrant flowers up to 4" in size are usually produced in Fall, but the plants can bloom at other times as well. The plants like bright indirect light and are reputedly able to tolerate cool temperatures. They prefer a well drained medium, a slight drying between waterings with regular additions of a liquid or water soluble fertilizer (see ours in the "Supplies" section).
