Phalaenopsis micholitzii NFS 3" sibling cross
species - Philippines
This is a warm growing species, so night temperatures of 65 degrees + are necessary. It also likes shady moist conditions and would do better being kept just moist at the roots (as opposed to soggy). The lightly fragrant flowers are 2-2.5" across and are produced in the summer on short, up to 3 flowered stems. Though uncommon in collections, Phal. micholitzii has been used quite a bit in hybridizing.
VERY LIMITED! NEAR FLOWERING SIZE, BUT NOT CURRENTLY IN BUD OR FLOWER.
