Phalaenopsis amboinensis NFS 3" sibling cross
species - Ambon Island, Sulawesi, Papua & New Guinea and Indonesia
This is a warm grower that produces musk-scented 2-3" flowers during late Winter-Spring. Phalaenopsis amboinensis has been used extensively in hybridizing contributing a rich yellow coloration and floral longevity among other things to its offspring. Flower stems of about 8" are produced both under and laterally and slightly arching above the foliage.
