And unique it is! Dendrobium unicum is an easy to grow cheerful addition o your orchid collection. It usually blooms in Spring or Summer most often on leafless canes (so don't fear if the leaves turn yellow and drop as long as the canes remain green and hard). The flowers are fragrant (apricot), 1.5-2" in size, 1-4 on a stem and are long lasting.
Dendrobium unicum would like bright indirect light, can grow with 55-60 degree nights and during the growing season (Spring-Fall) should be watered so as not the let the developing new growths dry out. With the advent of Winter water should be reduced and fertilizer eliminated till new growth begins.
These are flowering size plants and, treated properly should bloom early in 2021.
