Phalaenopsis hieroglyphica 3' FS sibling cross
species - Polillo and Palawan Islands, Philippines
This is a warm growing (65-85 degrees night-day), shade loving orchid with fragrant 2-3.5" flowers that blooms mostly late Spring-Summer. It is best grown like most Phalaenopsis hybrids, i.e. kept moist, not soggy, given regular applications of fertilizer (see ours in the "Supplies section).
The plant may produce several, stems each bearing a few long-lasting flowers, readily produces keikis (vegetative new growths borne off the stem) and as long as the stems remain green, they may continue to flower.
