Dendrochilum yuccifolium 3" FS
species - Philippines
This is a small clustering Dendrochilum that likes warm nights and days and semi-shady conditions. The foliage isn't really yucky, but it was so-named because it's describer thought the foliage was "yucca-like".
The starry flowers are borne Winter-Spring from the developing new growth and are held in a sort of loose "foxtail" that arches up around mid-way in the 12" leaves that rustle if you brush them lightly with your hand. Water and fertilize regularly adding a liquid or water soluble fertilizer once a month.
LIMITED! FLOWERING SIZE, BUT NOT CURRENTLY IN FLOWER.
