Laelia anceps (sib 'Helen' HCC/AOS X 'Marblehall Imperialis') 3"
species - Mexico, Honduras
Perhaps one of the loveliest and easiest to grow species. Laelia anceps is very temperature tolerant and can be grow outdoors year-round in temperate areas and in all but the coldest areas much of the year. Here it flowers for us twice a year, Winter and Summer on tall (to 4') upright stems that hold 4-6 long lasting, fragrant flowers that may be as much as 5" across.
These are the offspring of select parents made by one of the best hybridizers of the species in America. Expect very good things!.
