RARE! The coloratum form can be difficult to obtain, but the alba (white) form is even more so. These are the result of a sibling cross of 2 selected parents. Flowers will be 4-6" across and white with a yellow lip. Blooming season is Winter-Spring.
Laelia jongheana is a cool grower (55 degree nights) that like bright indirect light and heavy watering and fertilizing while in growth mode and a reduction of both after new growth is completed.
Our plants are probably 2 years from blooming and will remain rather compact even then. It is suggested that they be mounted on a suitable material (e.g. cork bark, tree fern, etc.) or planted in a basket.
