Dendrobium amethystoglossum 3" NFS
species - Luzon, the Philippines
Beautiful, fragrant, 1.25", long-lasting flowers bloom mostly in Winter months, usually on leafless canes. Flowers are held in clusters on horizontal to drooping stems. D. amethystoglossum will do well in intermediate conditions (warmer during the summer, cooler in Winter) and is one of the Dendrobiums that needs a bit of a drier Winter rest (reduce water and eliminate fertilizer) resuming regular watering a feeding when new growths appear.
We've listed these as NBS (near blooming size), but they are big enough to have their first blooms.
