Dendrobium nobile alba 4" FS
Dendrobium nobile alba
species - Himalayas, Assam, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam,
Beautiful, fragrant, white 3" flowers with a pale yellow throat are produced mainly in Winter, but at other times as well. Grow under warm conditions (65-85 degrees night to day) with regular watering and fertilizing UNTIL the onset of Winter. At that time (about now), or when growths are fully mature (rounded at the tip), reduce water, eliminate fertilizer and chill (50-55 degrees at night). If leaves begin to yellow and fall, don't worry, it's normal. As long as the canes stay greenish they are OK although they may shrivel a bit. Bumps that are buds should begin to form at the nodes and will continue to grow into flowers.
LIMITED! NEAR FLOWERING SIZE, BUT NOT CURRENTLY IN BUD/FLOWER
