Angraecum elephantinum 2"
species - Madagascar
Similar to Angraecum didieri, Angraecum elephantinum is a small plant that produces a relatively large flower (about 2.5") usually during the Winter months. Our plants are about 4" across and have about 3 sets of leaves.
We grow this one as an intermediate with temperatures from 65-85 degrees night to day although somewhat cooler nights are OK. In addition, Angraecum likes elephantinum semi-sun with regular watering and fertilizing year-round (see our fertilizers in the "Supplies" section), but avoid keeping the medium constantly wet.
NOT CURRENTLY IN SPIKE OR BLOOM.
