Brassavola nodosa 4" FS IN SPIKE NOW!!
Brassavola nodosa
species - Widespread through Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and South America
So sweetly scented at night is this species that it has garnered the name 'Lady of the Night'. It prefers bright indirect light and warm nights (65 degrees and up). It flowers out of the newly developing growth with 4 to 6 nearly 4" flowers, usually in Spring or Summer, but can flower at any time of year. These are 6-8 growth plants!
The "Lady" prefers bright light and intermediate-warm temperatures (60+ to 85 degrees) with regular water and fertilizer (see ours in the "Supplies" section). Unlike former offerings, these are planted in plastic pots, so it is advised the you allow the plants a little drying time between waterings in an effort to keep them from becoming wet constantly.
Brassavola nodosa also makes a great mounted plant
